String Trimmer delivers the performance of gas without the noise, fuss and fumes. The EGO 56-Volt 15 in. Brushless String Trimmer is compatible with all EGO 56-Volt Lithium-Ion Batteries (available separately). Please use the trimmer with the guard installed. The guard has a fixed blade that cuts the string when it gets too long. If the trimmer is used without the guard then the line does not get cut, and when ran at high speeds it can put a lot of strain on the motor, causing it to overheat.
